Highlight: Forty Years of Growing Agricultural Literacy
What began as an idea to bring agriculture into Minnesota classrooms has grown through the commitment of educators, farmers, businesses, investors, agricultural hosts, and community partners. In FY2026, MAITC program impact increased by 7%, reaching 169,553 unduplicated students through classroom resources, AgMags, Farm Camp Minnesota, professional development, grants, virtual field trips, and hands-on learning experiences.
Our purpose remains clear: make it easy for educators to bring agriculture into the lessons they already teach. Together, we are helping students ask questions, make real-world connections, and see agriculture as part of their lives, communities, and futures. Thank you for helping carry this work forward and supporting the vision that agriculture is valued by all.
