MAITC is a 501(c)3 not for profit. Funders make it possible for MAITC to provide free educational resources, experiences, grants and outreach to Minnesota's K-12 Community.

Professional development, free classroom lessons, resources and experiences provided by Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom are opportunities to introduce students and educators to agriculture. In some cases, this is their first real experience with agriculture and learning that they too have a place in agriculture. These opportunities make a difference as accurate agriculture facts are utilized to connect state education standards to agriculture and bring agriculture into traditional classrooms.
