A Week of Learning, Connecting, and Celebrating Agriculture
This June, Minnesota proudly hosted the 2025 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Minneapolis. Over four days, more than 600 educators, volunteers, and agricultural literacy leaders from across the country gathered to explore innovative ways to connect agriculture to student learning. From hands-on workshops to traveling tours across the region, attendees engaged with approaches that bring agriculture to life in classrooms of all kinds.
Spotlight on Minnesota Educators
One of the most exciting moments of the conference was celebrating our “25 in 2025” scholarship recipients. These 25 Minnesota educators are dedicated to advancing agricultural literacy both in their classrooms and through a year-long cohort experience. The Minnesota Reception was a special opportunity to honor their commitment, recognize outgoing advisory team members, and thank Minnesota educators, our team members and investors who make this work possible. Together, they represent the heart of our mission and the future of agricultural literacy in Minnesota.

Traveling Workshops Across Minnesota
Traveling workshops offered attendees a firsthand look at Minnesota agriculture in action. From dairy farms, seed innovation, and cooperative markets to school food systems, orchards, and conservation research, each tour highlighted the state's agricultural diversity. Some explored urban sustainability through a downtown walking tour, while others visited vineyards, research farms, or sports turf facilities. These workshops helped connect classroom concepts to real-world agricultural experiences. We are grateful to the site partners and hosts who made these hands-on learning opportunities possible.
Thank You to Our Volunteers, Board, and Teams
