Ashley Wulf
MAITC, Inc. Foundation Board Member
Why did you join the board?
I joined the Minnesota Ag in the Classroom board because I feel that agriculture education for K-12 students is vital for having a well-rounded education and want to help ensure that ag education continues to be available and implemented in schools.
What MAITC program or initiative are you most passionate about and why?
The MAITC program I’m most passionate about is Farm Camp for students of various ages. I believe that hands-on education can be the most valuable and impactful type of learning experience. Bringing students directly to farms can help them better understand where their food comes from while creating lasting memories.
What is your favorite agricultural product and why?
While all ag commodities are wonderful, my favorite is BEEF! I was raised on a dairy farm, which later transitioned to a cow-calf beef operation, so it's played a major role in my upbringing. Beef not only tastes amazing, but is also incredibly nutritious!
What is your profession?
