Experience Agriculture

MAITC Programs connect classrooms and educators to experiences, curriculum and careers foundational to agriculture.

Educating students on the opportunities in agriculture will help build the future workforce.

Supporting agriculture education in the classroom has long-term benefits for the Minnesota agriculture industry.

Professional development, free classroom lessons, resources and experiences provided by Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom are opportunities to introduce students and educators to agriculture. In some cases, this is their first real experience with agriculture and learning that they too have a place in agriculture. These opportunities make a difference as accurate agriculture facts are utilized to connect state education standards to agriculture and bring agriculture into traditional classrooms.
