Brandi Wulkan
Farm Camp Director
Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom, Inc. Foundation
Brandi and her significant other, Nathan, have a son and a baby on the way that they are raising on their dream farm just a mile from the home farm in Renville County. They farm with her family - helping mostly with the corn and soybeans, but filling in as needed with the market garden/canning, chickens, and two goat herds. Growing up, her family raised dairy, beef, rabbits, and chickens, along with crops.
Brandi was thrilled to take on the role as Farm Camp Program Director where she can combine her two passions - agriculture and education. She has degrees in Early Childhood Education and Farm Operations & Management. She was a Renville County Dairy Princess and taught preschool/pre-k for 7 years. She currently serves as a Vice President on the Renville County Fair Board and Sunday School Superintendent/VBS Coordinator for her church. She believes that ag literacy starts with kids - providing them connections and resources to ask any question they can think of and get answers from those in the industry. She often says "once you get dirt in your shoes, you never really get it out."
