Cassie Monger
MAITC, Inc. Foundation Board Member
Why did you join the board?
Having grown up on a dairy farm and building a career dedicated to helping agricultural businesses grow and thrive, I understand firsthand the importance of connecting people, especially young learners, to the role agriculture plays in their lives and communities.
Ultimately, I’m motivated by the opportunity to give back to an industry that has shaped my life and career, and to help MAITC continue its critical work of fostering agricultural literacy and awareness across Minnesota.
What MAITC program or initiative are you most passionate about and why?
My favorite MAITC program is the Teacher Tours. There’s no better way to bridge the gap between classrooms and agriculture than by giving teachers real, hands-on experiences. When educators see and understand agriculture firsthand, they can bring those stories and insights back to their students in meaningful, relatable ways.
What is your favorite agricultural product and why?
Dairy In all its forms! To me, dairy represents more than food; it symbolizes family, dedication, and the constant innovation that keeps agriculture moving forward. It’s the product that raised me, shaped my career, and still inspires me today.
What is your profession?
I am the owner of Catalyst Ag, where I work as an Agricultural Business and Strategy Consultant specializing in finance, leadership, organizational development, and innovation for dairy and agribusiness operations.
